After tweeting on Wednesday that he’s going to vote Republican for the primary time within the subsequent election cycle, billionaire Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Thursday then floated the thought of a 3rd celebration.

He tweeted that one other celebration extra “average on points” than both the Democrats or Republicans can be “superb.”

Critics weren’t shopping for it. If moderation is what Musk is searching for in politics, many argued, the insurrectionist Republican Celebration doesn’t seem to be a rational fallback.

Musk’s celebration hopping and the snarky responses he was getting on Twitter upset his mother.

“Poor Elon is trending,” Maye Musk tweeted Wednesday, questioning how critics with so few followers might dare be “malicious” about her son. She recommended — look forward to it — that Twitter should be under-reporting the number of bots.
